One family of curved lines crosses the square on a slant, and no line ever touches another. Toward the lower left they pack close enough to read as a dark mass; toward the upper right the same lines stand far apart and break into short pieces. A narrow tight band climbs out of the mass and reaches a separate dense patch near the top corner.
